Age Concern Oldham offers a range of care and support services to meet the diversity of needs of older people in the borough of Oldham. These services include Day Care, Luncheon Clubs, Advocacy, Befriending, 'Choosing the Right Care Home', An Information and Advice Service, Leisure Activities and Escorted Holidays.
We also provide Products and Services for the over 50's - Home and Contents Insurance as well as Travel, Motor and Motor Breakdown Insurance, Aid Calls, Gas and Electricity through Powergen.
Other projects include: Falls and Injury Prevention Exercise Scheme - referrals via GPs and Physiotherapists.
Living Choices - assisting people to maintain their independance.
Our four charity shops will collect donated goods and the Oldham shop has an extensive fancy dress hire department at very reasonable rates.
All income generated goes towards providing services for older people locally in Oldham.
